Welcome to this course in Astro-Shamanism. In the basic astrology course (elsewhere on this site), we covered all the nuts and bolts of traditional astrology, including the signs, houses, aspects, planets and so on. That basic course is the place to begin to learn astrology, so I refer you there if you have not already reviewed the material.

However, if you already know at least some astrology and you want to understand more about astrology’s inner meaning as it relates to day-to-day living and the soul’s journey through life from an astrological perspective, then this course may be just the ticket. Before you jump in, let me describe what we will be covering.

The material covered here is part of what is called “inner” or “esoteric” astrology. It is esoteric in that it can be so subtle that not everyone gets it. If they did, it would no longer be called esoteric. I will do my best to explain this material as clearly as possible, and hopefully your understanding of astrology will deepen and you’ll begin to see these inner teachings at work in the world around you. No longer will astrology be just from a book or in chart form. Esoteric astrology is, above all, a living astrology, and if this course makes any sense to you, you will learn to see that astrology is all around in your day-to-day life, and not just out there among the stars. Esoteric astrology is the real heart of astrology, and very much worth the effort to understand and experience. And shamanic astrology is a principle form of esoteric astrology.
