Shamanic astrology is a subject that is very hard to describe in words, but I will do my best. I have had excellent teachers and training, yet I must ask for your patience and understanding. Some of the following sections will be quite formal, like many astrological books and articles, however, still other sections will be very personal and poetic. I apologize in advance if any of this writing is too personal or too much or the wrong kind of prose for your taste. I have only my own personal account and life journey to use as an illustration. I cannot presume on any one else’s experience. And please don’t read my personal account and suppose that you will experience the same thing.

We are each different, so read my account as one person’s odyssey through the thicket of time. Yours will be tailored to your life and experiences. I have marked those more-descriptive sections as “journal” entries, so you can take them or leave them as you will. I suggest you read them, as I don’t have all the answers. Sometimes the more poetic me is all the understanding I have. I am still very much on this same journey.

I have organized all of this material into rough sections as they make sense to me; but keep in mind that all of this esoteric material is interdependent and mutually reflective, so any given section may have all kinds of topics touched on, other than just the main theme. There are many small sections, as well as longer ones too. Also, keep in mind that many of these topics will be repeated, going over the same content again and again, but from slightly different perspectives. Please have patience with this approach, as repetition is an important means to allow these concepts to sink in. It is how I learned from my teacher. Remember, this is esoteric or hidden material, and by that very fact is not obvious. Take your time.

It is best to read through each section and kind of immerse yourself in what’s there, letting it seep into your consciousness as much by osmosis as by grasping at it with your intellect. The goal is to get a feel for this approach. It is not unlike focusing a pair of binoculars so that things come into focus. Read through it, but don’t try to force an understanding. Let it flow. Once you begin to see what is being talked about, you can take it from there.

And last, I dedicate this course to the benefit of all sentient beings, that each may find the right kind of energy (Mars) to propel them along their correct path (Jupiter) and help them pass through whatever challenges await them (Saturn). In the end, may each of us take full possession of Earth—our inheritance.
